Each of our three identical Christmas Eve gatherings will be filled with uplifting music, a special message straight from God's Word delivered by Pastor Shaun, and the soft, cozy glow of candlelight. Our Christmas Eve gatherings are the perfect opportunity to embrace the hope that Jesus brings us — From the lively outdoor lobby where friends and family connect, to VC Kids where children are learning about God's love, to the main auditorium where we gather all together, all people are guaranteed a joy-filled time when you spend Christmas at Venture Church!
Whether you've been a member of the Venture family for years, or you just moved to the lowcountry, you'll find that all people have a place to call home here at Venture Church. If you're a first-time family joining us for Christmas Eve, we want to encourage you to pre-register your family using the Plan Your Christmas at Venture Church form — This will ensure you and your family have a speedy, easy check-in when you drop your children off at VC Kids, and will help us answer any questions that you have prior to us meeting you for the first time by allowing us to connect personally!

Each of our three Christmas Eve gatherings are identical, from the worship songs to the message — Pick the time that works best for you and your family, and enjoy the rest of your Christmas Eve! We will host gatherings at 3pm, 5pm, and 7pm on December 24th.
We do not enforce or encourage a dress code for our Sunday gatherings or holiday gatherings. At Venture, you will see everything from casual shorts and flip flops ready to hit the sandbar after service, to a business suit and tie. Venture Church is not about what you wear or what you look like — Come comfortable and be you!
VC Kids welcomes all children, from newborns to those in 5th grade! Our age-specific lessons will ensure that your child has a ton of fun as they learn about Jesus. The VC Kids Dream Team is committed to providing an environment that is clean, safe, and fun for your children while you enjoy the worship experience.
When you drive onto our property on Christmas Eve, you can expect to be guided to a parking spot by one of our smiling Dream Team members. If you have children, find the big white tent; there, the VC Kids Dream Team will meet your family and accompany you to our secure check-in area. Once checked in, you and your child will be guided to their age-appropriate classroom, all while answering any questions you may have along the way.
If you’re a first-time Venture Church guest, make sure you stop by the tent outside the front doors of our lobby! There, you’ll connect with a Dream Team member that can help to answer any questions you may have about Venture Church, and they’ll even show you around before service begins. Make sure you find them again after service is over — They’ll have a special gift for you to say thanks for joining us!
During our service, you can expect a dynamic, modern worship set featuring Christmas classics and new songs alike. After a few songs of worship, Pastor Shaun Olsen will deliver an inspiring message straight from the Bible — Then he’ll lead us into a time of response and reflection, where we’ll enjoy a beautiful candlelit ending to our Christmas Eve together. Children that join their families in service will receive glow sticks instead of candles.
Once service is over, if you’ve checked your kids into VC Kids, you can check them out underneath the same big white tent where they were originally dropped off. When you arrive back at your car, signs and Dream Team members will help to direct you to the one-way exit back to Argent Boulevard.
